Multi-site, multi-ward hospital testing revealed that HCWs prefer BetterShield over the nearest competitor by more than 300%. Now that's Better!

Overview: User Preference trial conducted at a 470+ bed Canadian teaching hospital, Fall/Winter 2007/8.
Trial duration: 3 months.
Method: 300 BetterShields were tested against market-leading traditional flat disposable faceshields. Users rated their experience of old vs. new faceshields according to a survey form.
Sample size: A total of 35 clinicians (RNs, RTs) were surveyed.
Participating clinical units: ICU, Labor & Delivery, Emergency, IPAC, and RT.

Summary: Data shows a >300% average preference of BetterShield to traditional flat faceshield.

Upon study completion, this hospital chose BetterShield as their primary day-to-day Face Shield, as well as for their pandemic stockpile.
