Why would we use gelFAST

clothing?
gelFAST

lab-coat pockets, and many other garments

Does gelFAST pose a
cross-infection risk?
Leading infection experts agree that gelFAST does not pose a cross-infection risk, nor do
bottles become infected. Furthermore, unlike
wall-mounted pumps, each gelFAST is

Is gelFAST refillable?
gelFAST Cartridges are designed for optimal
patient safety. In promoting policies of leading
health authorities and institutions, cartridges
are not refillable. gelFAST's innovative design

that the gel contained within cartridges is of
only the best quality and efficacy.

What type of gel is it?
After extensive research with top caregivers,
gelFAST was developed to address the most stringent
hospital requirements. The gel contains 70%
ethyl alcohol, is unscented, and contains
emollients to prevent sensitive skin from drying

Doesn't alcohol gel dry
hands out?
High intensity hand hygiene requires high
intensity gel. gelFAST contains a carefully
prepared antiseptic formulation containing
multiple emollients. Caregivers typically report
that hands are better conditioned after
extensive use.

Will gelFAST leak?
gelFAST was designed to apply gel only where and when it
is wanted. As confirmed by field trials, the
unique design makes it
virtually impossible for leaking or accidental
dispensing. In contrast, many wall-mounted gel
dispensing units build up unpleasant nozzle
residue over time.

How long does a cartridge
last?
While highly dependent on usage, we have found
that gelFAST cartridges last the most demanding users, such
as ICU nurses, one full shift. On average,
cartridges typically last between two and three
shifts.

Is it recyclable?
The entire unit is recyclable. Just toss it into
your standard plastics recycling. Simple.
